DESIGN INSPIRATION

Isn’t it a nice surprise to see a puffy, lazy hippo emerge from the floor? An unexpected encounter that is sweet and sad at the same time. The inhabitants of this world are suffering because of human behavior. Among them are hippos that are losing their habitat due to drought.

At Grado’s invitation and with great support, YUUE design studio uses design to raise such awareness while offering a creative interior design solution. With full love for hippos in his heart, designer Weng Xinyu carefully shapes the hippo so that the animal is lively and lovable. At the same time, it serves as an inviting seating object with a full decorative purpose.
