Design Concept

The Forsythia Chair’s backrest and seat are crafted from lightweight, heat-bent plywood, resembling the delicate petals of forsythia flowers. This design not only reduces the overall weight of the chair but also adds a unique, graceful elegance. The chair’s frame is made of stainless steel, with a cleverly interwoven structure that creates a stable and aesthetically pleasing support system.

Stable Stainless Steel Frame

The steel frame is reinforced with a triangular structure, with full welds that are finely polished. The expertly crafted, symmetrical structure ensures exceptional stability. The four-point support design on the backrest allows for even distribution of weight, providing robust support.

Ergonomically Designed for Comfort

The seat features a slight 3° upward tilt, alleviating pressure on the hips during long sitting sessions.
The enlarged backrest (18.7” x 9.8”) provides excellent support for the back, with a curved design that conforms to the body’s natural shape, reducing fatigue from prolonged sitting.
The seat has a gentle waterfall design, evenly distributing pressure, ensuring comfort and health even during extended use.

Eco-Friendly Materials

The chair is built with a 10-layer birch plywood base and finished with double-sided white ash wood veneer, with a total thickness of 0.6”. The edges are hand-polished by craftsmen for a smooth, burr-free finish.
The paint finish uses only water-based diluents, making it environmentally friendly and safe for human health.
